On 13th October 1934 Reigate Rugby Club took on a side from the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserves in our first ever match. Whilst the RNVR no longer has a rugby side, we've been able to find a suitable alternative in the Royal Navy Academy to play a 90th anniversary match.
There's lots planned on the day with special guests, entertainment, walking rugby invitational tournament and our youth teams also taking part as well as the friendly kicking off at 2pm. Please be sure to watch this space and follow us on social media (@ReigateRugby) for further details and more history on the club as part of our 90th year celebrations.
in 1934 Reigate ran out 38-8 victors, here's hoping for more of the same on this day of club-wide celebrations!
